We Run This Town

This has been the most eventful weekend since I’ve started school.

And yet, it’s one of the first Sundays I haven’t suddenly realized I forgot to do something for tomorrow.

I’m okay with this.

Friday, I went to class, and then went dress shopping at a store other than the GW Boutique for the first time in months.

This was how I justified spending what I did–but forreal, I got a great deal.

That night, I went to a HoCo football game with my second family.

They lost, sadly, but we died laughing when Hank posed for Lynn to get pictures.

It was good to put classes out of my head for a little while and just focus on being in the moment.

Being present is something I’ve always struggled with.

I’m a planner.

I like to know exactly how things are going to go and when they are going to happen.

Then, yesterday, Major Dad returned from his deployment.  Tonight is his first night staying at the house while I’m on campus.

It’s going to be an adjustment period, for sure.

Then, I was with LH&H again for the Luke Bryan concert in Macon!

Apparently, drunk guys think I have a cute butt.

Ain’t NOBODY got time for that.

We danced and sang and goofed off and it was a lot of fun.

I love them people.

Today was chill, thankfully.

We gave SophieRu a bath (look toward Mama for those pictures).

And then I came back to campus.

I wasn’t feeling great about being back in my room by myself, but a combination of a Long Island Medium marathon and getting to see my sweet Exec STUNT Chair at Chapel has made me feel much better.

And because I love you all so much, I’m going to leave you with a link to my favorite Luke Bryan song.

So sweet.

Oh, and go youtube search “Luke Bryan the move”…

You’ll thank me later.
